Snow Valley Mountain Resort has been forced to push back its opening day to the 2019/20 ski season due to stormy weather and too much snow. NOAA is forecast snowfall totals between 30-40″.

Although the opening day has been pushed back, the snow will set up a solid base and a great start to the ski season for Snow Valley.

Due to Thursday’s forecast storm that appears to be more intense than Wednesday’s storm, we will reopen Friday at 9 am.  Gusty winds, near whiteout conditions and 27-37 inches of snow are in the forecast per the National Weather Service.  The weeks ahead will be awesome thanks to this storm and snowmaking that is underway this evening.

Wednesday’s storm has brought us 10-12 inches of snow thus far!
