Winter Park Resort in Colorado will be opening this Saturday! The 2019 opening will be the earliest opening in the resorts 80-year history.
A $4 million upgrade to the resort’s snowmaking as well as early-season snowfalls, that dropped 40 inches of snow in October, has allowed them to open 11 days earlier than there projected opening date of Nov. 13th.
The resort will be spinning Arrow lift with access to Parkway, Lower Village Way and Sorenson Park runs. Sky-Hi News is also reporting that Winter Park will also be serving up $1 Coors Light beers at the Derailer Bar.
