A massive rockfall that released in the tiny Swiss village of Göschenen was caught on tape last month. The footage shows enormous house-size boulders smashing down the hillside with a terrible force. While rockfalls aren’t uncommon in the perilously-steep Swiss Alps, this one was noteworthy due to the immense size of the boulders flying downhill. One can only imagine what the sound that echoed through the valley during this event.
