5 quick thinking boys age 13-14 are being hailed as heroes for jumping into action to save an eight year old child dangling from a chairlift at Grouse Mountain ski resort in North Vancouver.

Global News reports the boys had the presence of mind to quickly run and grab a nearby piece of orange netting to catch the boy. They instructed him to kick his skis off before dropping and we thankfully report the boy was uninjured.

Grouse Mountain Resorts spokeswoman Julia Grant confirmed the company’s president will meet privately with the rescuers to express his gratitude and the boys will receive season passes to the mountain.

Where ever you are, stand up and applaud. These kids are HEREOS and we salute their brave actions. Well done boys!!!
