“We only need 2+ ft of snow to break our personal record for the snowiest month in recorded Squaw Alpine history! With predictions of 4-6 ft by Thurs, it seems to be that February 2019 will truly be a record-setting month.”

It’s been a truly remarkable snow month for the folks up at Squaw and across the ridge at Alpine. Back in January 2017, they topped out at 282 inches (23.5 feet) and are currently sitting at 258 inches (21.5 feet). With a storm forecasted to deliver an additional 4-6 feet by Thursday the 28th, a new record is well within sight. Not a bad total for the shortest month in the calendar year. Praise Ullr!!!
