Never in the history of Whistler Blackcomb, B.C. have they received more snow in the month of December than they did in 2018.  The 151″ of snow that fell during the month surpassed the the all-time record for a December snowfall, set in 1994.

Marc Riddell, Whistler Blackcomb & Northwest Public Relations Director told vancourier.com, “It was a phenomenal holiday period and we’ve got a great base to start the season, particularly given the snow we’ve had in the first days of January. It took some time to arrive this season, but it’s not letting up.”

The resort is now 100% open and enjoying a base depth of 100 inches.
