The bison taunting saga of the past month reached a fitting conclusion today as a federal judge sentenced 55 year-old Raymond Reinke to 130 in jail reports MTN News.

If you aren’t familiar with the Jackson Hole pastime of checking the Teton County Inmate List,  let me be the first to introduce you to the newest way to pass your time during long commutes. You can look in the hopes that you find an ex that dumped you, or you can look in fear that one of your friends might need bail money.  Either way, this clown started his reign of infamy on the inmate list and continued on a bender the likes of which would shame Billy Bob Thorton’s Bad Santa.

After being arrested and booked into the Teton County jail for disorderly behavior in Grand Teton National Park the night before, he headed up to taunt a Bison in Yellowstone National Park. Turns out he was likely drunk at that time to boot. After the video of his Yellowstone antics went viral, authorities put a warrant out for his arrest.

Turns out finding Reinke wouldn’t be hard. He showed up the following day at the Many Glacier Lodge in Glacier National Park, where he proceeded to make a scene and resist a federal employee. He was later booked and transferred back to Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. He originally plead not guilty but later changed his plea, likely to avoid a longer sentence.
