It will be a few more months before Loveland Ski Area’s new chairlift is finished, with plans to have it ready for opening day in October.
But inside the marketing offices, John Sellers and the staff are just days away from naming that chairlift.
“They started with a contest asking people to come up with a good name,” Sellers said.
“We anticipate having an announcement early next week,” Sellers said. – 9News.com
So Loveland put the name of their brand new, completely renovated Lift 1 in the hands of their local season pass holders and the results were awesome. We’ve got ‘Lifty McLiftface’ obviously but some were surprising (ex:.”Chairway to Heaven”). There were also a good amount of suggestions to honor former employee, Adam Lee who died last year in a magic carpet accident that took his life.
But then we got thinking, shouldn’t Unofficial at least get a shot at naming the new lift. So here we go with three, completely unsolicited ‘love’ related name suggestions. Give us your 3 best names and let’s pile on this name game!
