Summer snow is expected in the Austrian Alps over the weekend with up to 4″ forecasted for the higher elevations.
The snow is expected to start flying late Friday and into Saturday morning. Snow levels could extend as low as 6,560-feet across northern and central Austria and below 8,200-feet over Slovenia, eastern Switzerland and northeastern Italy.
