The # of ski areas still open in North America took a big hit this past Memorial Day weekend as Squaw Valley, Mt Bachelor, Sommet-Sainte Sauveur, and others shut their doors until next winter.

The good news for skiers and riders is Montana had a historic season and Beartooth Basin is opening this weekend for its summer ski season. You can find details on opening weekend here.
