The rumors are true– Tanner Hall will get to compete against the best big mountain skiers under a wildcard designation during the upcoming 2019 Freeride World Tour.

The news broke this morning as FWT officials issued a press release concerning the addition of Tanner to the roster. Following in the footsteps of skiers like Candide Thovex, Hall is a boon for the FWT and will demand eyeballs from the skiing world this winter.

“Tanner Hall (34), one of the world’s most decorated veterans of freestyle and freeride, will be granted a season wild card to compete alongside the planet’s top freeriders on the five stop international tour in 2019.” – FWT 

Over the past half decade, Tanner has taken his big mountain skills to a whole new level and some wonder if he’s taken the crown as the best big mountain skier in the game. Next year we’ll know for sure.

Tanner Hall (34), one of the world’s most decorated veterans of freestyle and freeride, will be granted a season wild card to compete alongside the planet’s top freeriders on the five stop international tour in 2019.

Originating from Kalispell, Montana, USA, with a career spanning nearly two decades, Hall is often credited with being one of the original prodigies of the freeski movement; pushing the limit with never-before-seen tricks and progressive lines that earned him admiration and accolades across ski disciplines. Tanner came into the spotlight at a young age, with victories in freestyle skiing competitions that paved his way to groundbreaking movie segments and numerous X-games medals in slopestyle and halfpipe.
