A 72 year-old skier is dead after colliding with a tree on at the ski resort of Breckenridge in Summit County, CO.
According to the Summit Daily, George Constantine of Denver crashed into a tree in the Peak 9 area at approximately 3:55pm on Friday of last week. He was transported to the Breckenridge Medical Clinic where he was later pronounced dead. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Coroner, Regan Wood indicated that the death was the result of, “exsanguination due to blunt force trauma injuries.”
