Vermont ski resorts are boasting some of the best ski conditions in recent memory. Stratton has received over a third of their annual snowfall in just the past 7 days. Jay Peak has picked up 23″ in the past 24 hours alone. Mad River Glen is reporting 18-22 inches in 24 hours as of Wednesday morning with another 5-8 inches forecasted for today.
At Mount Snow, Aurora Hooper reported breathlessly late Tuesday: “With over 60 inches of snow here in the past week, this has got to be some of the best skiing of all time.”
