Colorado is having a terrible snow year. The states snowpack levels are sitting at roughly 60 percent of their historical average making it the worst winter since 2012.
The southern part of the state is getting hit the hardest with the ski resorts of Crested Butte and Telluride at around 35 percent of average snowpack.
With a couple more months of winter still ahead things could change, but the chances of getting the states snowpack levels up to their historic averages is very low.
