Ralph Lauren Goes For 1990’s Snowboarder Look For New Collection

I wasn’t aware that snowboarders in 1990’s rocked Australian bush hats (had to look that one up) but the obnoxious lettering and ‘In Living Color’ pallete is actually pretty accurate.

Thecut.com reports Ralph Lauren is commemorating the 25th anniversary of its first snowboarding collection with an ode to the ’90s. The Limited Edition Polo Snow Beach will will include neon bucket hats, pullovers, waist packs, and reissues of the exact models released 25 years ago.

The Snow Beach collection will be available at RalphLauren.com and select stores:

“Bold, graphic, and groundbreaking, Ralph Lauren’s Fall 1993 Snowboarding collection captured the mood of a moment and captivated a generation of collectors. A quarter century later, we are pleased to announce that Snow Beach is back, with a limited-edition 10-piece capsule of both reissues and modern reinterpretations of Ralph Lauren’s original iconic designs.”

This is an ad from the original line 25 years ago: This is the fallout of trying to incoperate snowboarding into fashion:
