Ski resorts from Washington to Maine are open for the 2017/18 ski season. Heavy snowfall in the PNW provided for banger opening weekends at many far west ski resorts.

Jackson Hole, which opens this Friday, is reporting 118″ of snowfall so far this season.

Low nightly temperatures have allowed ski areas in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York to fire up the snow guns and get a handful of trails open. However, the east coast is still waiting on the first big winter storm of the season.
