Most of the snow will be relegated to peaks taller than 8,000′ with a mix of rain until you get above 10,000′. The below forecast is for Mount Marcus Baker (13,176′), the highest mountain in the Chugach Range.
The heavy snow will starting falling on Thursday before tapering off slightly into the weekend. The only question that remains is– will anyone be putting in the grueling slog to grab some fresh turns. Or will a select heli operator take advantage of the über early season conditions?
