With millennials ditching the financial burden of baby’s in favor of a new mountain bikes and/or skis– resort destinations are chucking the Disney Land business model in favor of something a little more exciting.

An asset of Northern Powerhouse Developments, Afan Valley Adventure Resort will be one of the biggest adventure resorts in the world. Located in southwestern Wales, the resort will include over 400 acres of terrain on which to enjoy mountain biking, climbing, hiking, skiing, zip lining, and archery among others. The skiing will most likely occur on artificial, dry slopes the kind of which are typical in England.

The resort’s outdoor opportunities will also be accompanied by cushy accommodations that include luxury lodging, spas, and top-notch cuisine. If history serves as any indication, Bear might be putting some “bugs du jour” on the menu. The resort will also play host to Bear Grylls’ survival courses where people of all ages will be able to test their survival mettle.
