And it’s not over yet. The heaviest snowfall will occur today through Saturday before sunny skies return on Sunday. The storm will start warm but leave cold with highs on Saturday reaching just 20° F. Meaning Mammoth Mountain will host more “all-time” storm skiing throughout weekend before a bluebird pow day on Sunday. Looks like the Sierra is making up for all those years of drought…

Mammoth Mountain Snow Report

DUMP ALERT! Mother Nature is taking the saying “April Showers” quite literally dumping 20-26″ of new snow overnight with much more on the way the next 24-48 hours. Forecasts are calling for multiple more feet of snow so be safe, ride with a buddy, and always check CalTrans for real time road conditions. Weather holds will be in effect due to the storm today.
