Judgement has been handed down for David Soltysiak, 31, of Petoskey, Michigan on his involvement in a fire that injured twelve people on Dec. 11 at the Main Lodge at the Boyne Highlands Resort. The Detroit Free Press reports Soltysiak pleaded no contest to second-degree arson and felonious assault and was sentenced up to 20 years in prison with a minimum of 13 years and 3 months.He was apprehended after running from a security guard and spraying a fire extinguisher at him at the time of the fire at the northern Michigan ski resort. Soltysiak maintains he has no memory of the event and authorities say he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs before starting the fire in a room.
