“This wasn’t a lift operator issue, this wasn’t a lift issue. This was strictly something that the guest didn’t put their safety bar down. They had the medical incident, which caused them to fall out of the chair.” Josh Ameson of Bolton Valley Resort.

A person fell from the Bolton Valley Mid-Mountain lift around 10:30am Friday morning after suffering a seizure as reported by WCAX Burlington. He fell 20ft and was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at the time.  Officials are reporting the did not bring the safety bar down. The lift remained open for the rest of the day.
