“Yeeeeeesssss!!!! I screamed, cried and then I couldn’t stop smiling because today, I WON!!!! I have been injured quite a few times in my career but this past injury has been the toughest mentally to overcome. But I have always believed that in the end hard work will pay off, And it did!” -Lindsey Vonn

Lindsey Vonn edged out out defending overall World Cup champion Lara Gut to claim her 77th World Cup win in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. This was just the second race for Lindsey after coming back from a broken arm. The win puts here just nine wins away from the career victory record held by Ingemar Stenmark. Way to go Lindsey!!!
