The recent collapse of a Breckenridge hotel conference room roof (thankfully no one was hurt) should serve as a reminder to all Colorado residents that with all the recent snow, roof collapses are a reality and a real danger.

Another less talked about threat is snow fouling a home’s ventilation system which could put residents at risk for carbon monoxide poisoning.  Please be aware of the dangers and take all necessary steps to stay safe (carbon monoxide detectors are cheap and often free at local fire stations).
