10 days out from the World Cup Event in Killington Vermont and they’re claiming the snowiest spot in the USA. We can not confirm the claim but with a dismal early season out west, it’s not hard to believe:

It will the first World Cup event in the Northeast in over 25 years.  93 racers from 20 countries are competing in the women’s giant slalom and slalom. Lindsey Vonn will be sitting this one out after that nasty arm break but fellow U. S. Ski Team skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Julia Mancuso will compete. Best of luck to all the ladies competing.
