An alpine festival in Austria has interesting take on the art of matching making, organizers at The Snowbombing Festival held every year in April in Mayrhofen, Austria,  encourage single skiers to participate in chair lift speed dating as reported by The Independent.

Chairlift speed dating has one obvious benefit to potential suitors, a truly captive audience.  Each speed date takes 10 minutes bottom to top and dressing up is highly recommended.  First impressions are important.
