“It looks like we are having the time of our lives just sending it, but what you don’t see is how much time and energy we put into not getting caught in an avalanche.” -Travis Rice

As ski film premier season gets underway, its important we remember how much effort is put into keeping athletes safe in the mountains while getting those incredible shots that put butts in seats.

During the shoulder season, while we all obsess over weather projections and get our gear shipshape for when the snow starts to fly, it’s a great time to freshen up on your avalanche safety training.  Please encourage your friends to do the same and put in the time now to ensure you have the safest ski season possible.

Please go to KBYG.org for more information and don’t be shy about starting an email chain with your crew about avalanche safety this winter. screen-shot-2016-10-02-at-11-08-48-am
