While people are likely to have an opinion on the resort’s stance, their visionary look on energy is pretty admirable. For example, the resort built The Fitzsimmons Creek Renewable Energy Project, which has the capacity to power the entire resort’s year-round operations solely on hydroelectric. Whistler Blackcomb is the largest ski area in North America.
