It’s somewhere between midwinter and spring right now in much of the southern hemisphere and with New Zealand getting its fair share of pow days over the last two weeks, everyone seems to be catching up snow-wise.

Still, Chile seems like the place to be this season as Portillo and Valle Nevado continue to boast the deepest and most consistent snowpacks. Meanwhile on the other end of the southern hemisphere, Australia continues to get crushed by antarctic storm after storm (See below). And with another month of lift accessed skiing, things are just starting to peak down south.
