“When she got up on two legs and carried the garbage bag, I would have sworn it was a person in a bear suit!”

This hungry bear gave residents at a Issaquah Highlands, WA housing complex quite a show as it picked up bag of garbage with its front paws and walked away like the famous New Jersey bipedal black bear “Pedals.”

It is incredibly important we use bear-proof garbage cans if we live in bear country. It’s not their fault they have incredible senses of smell and are cunning and powerful. Do your part and make sure all your refuse is secure to avoid attracting bears and putting them at risk of human intervention.

Heres a clip from the local news about the sighting.
