A few athletes at the all women’s Gold Nugget Triathlon in Anchorage, Alaska had more than the regular rigors of an endurance race on 5/15/16. Anchorage NBC affiliate KTUU spoke with a state wildlife biologist Dave Battle about the encounter.  He was concerned and said,“That could be an indication the bear has been fed by humans in the past.”
