True Story of Woman Who Punctured Her Heart Skiing In Massachusetts And Lived

YouTube Poster

A 1989 life and death tale of skiing at Butternut Basin in Great Barrington, MA narrated by William Shatner.  Just goes to show you that even though a down skier may not show any external signs of injury, that doesn’t mean that their condition isn’t critical.

Thanks to a well trained ski patroller who recognized her internal bleeding and a coordinated rescue effort, Marty survived the accident and lived to ski another day.
