The search for missing backcountry skier Monty Busbee, 43, has been suspended a week after he was reported missing near the Snoqualmie Summit.

“Today it’s a mission based on recovery,” Bob Coleman, with Seattle Mountain Rescue.
A spokesperson for the King County Sheriff said crews won’t resume the search until the snow level drops.
