With 10million dollars of investment behind it, Cape Productions is set to begin operations at Squaw Valley USA and Homewood resort in Tahoe during December.  The company’s co-founder Louis Gresham has confirmed they have partnered with 8 resorts in the US and Canada and looking to expand to keep up with the needs of our selfie obsessed nation.

HOW MUCH: Between $100 and $200 for a 90 second clip delivered within 48 hours of shooting. Apparently the mini edits will include some cleaning up of the raw video in post with the addition of music, landscape footage and stationary shots mixed in (cannot wait to see what music they use over everyones drone vids)

Each drone is about $4,000 and according to this travelerstoday.com article “they are about the measure of a huge crow.” Loving that folksy measurement, it’s like John Snow describing a quadcopter.  The have gotten clearance with the Federal Aviation Administration to fly over private resorts but need endorsement by the Forest Service to begin filming resorts that operate on public land.
