Monarch just got seriously hammered by an unexpected upslope storm and the resort is reporting a surprise pow day with 24” in the past 24 hours!
Monarch has received 50” so far this year and has approximately 75% of its terrain open!
So far Colorado is off to a sick start with the Sawatch, Summit, and the Front Range reporting their snowpacks as 121% of normal for this time of year.
