Peter Sky, 29, died in a skiing accident on Mount Bachelor Thursday afternoon. April 30, 2015.
Sky was skiing with a friend on the Leeway ski run when he apparently lost control and hit a tree. He suffered fatal injuries and medics were not able to save him. Sky has been described as an experienced skier who knew the mountain well.
He is survived by his wife Marissa Sky and a daughter.
