Why We Need Your Contribution:

All kidding aside, we truly believe in our product and need your help. Pit Viper began when founder, Chuck Mumford, bought a handful of military surplus sunglasses and began painting them in his garage. From there with his co-founder, Chris Garcin, they have poured their hearts, souls, money, time & energy into building a company that promotes an awesome product with a fun loving message. The original military surplus from where we made Pit Vipers has run dry and we are trying to put them back into production. The production run Pit Vipers will also be upgraded in a handful of ways to help us continue to improve our product.

What Your Money Will Go Toward:

Creation of the Pit Viper production mold.
A first run of about 5,000 pairs (the minimum quantity required to produce them).
Some modest administrative cost (like rent for our warehouse).

PIT VIPER – A SHORT HISTORY:

An original military design that has found its way into the hands of 90s inspired sports enthusiasts, Pit Vipers combine all of the functionality required by our troops with all of the style required by our beloved founder, Chuck Mumford.

Pit Viper was founded in 2012 when Chuck Mumford had enough of his “trendy” sports sunglasses and took one small step into the future. Now with the help of his co-founder, Chris Garcin, Pit Viper is ready to make the world a more fun place.
