This might be the greatest advancement in ski patrol response time we have seen in ages, but there are also drawbacks to the proposed system.
Can you really only offer a premium safety package to those who can afford it?
Will already busy ski patrols be inundated with false alarms decreasing their effectiveness for real emergencies?
Will people feel a false sense of security and take risks they wouldn’t previously because they have a direct line to rescuers?
…the list goes on. Feel free to chime in with pro and cons.
