The CBC is reporting that a man has died in a very large avalanche in B.C.’s Pucell Range.
- Location: Hellroaring Creek west of Kimberley
- Danger rating ‘considerable’
- The avalanche struck a group of seven men in steep and rugged terrain.
- Recovery crews had to blast the area before they could go in.
- The identity of the deceased has not been released
