FORSAKE: All-Weather Kicks to Keep You Dry and Fly

“It’s like your hiking boots and dancing shoes had a love child.”

Some former ski bums have formed a new company to build all-weather footwear that is equally at home on the streets of New York as they are on the Pacific Crest Trail. Here is the story.

THE STORY

Forsake was founded by Jake Anderson and Sam Barstow – two college friends and former ski bums with a passion for the outdoors and an undiagnosed addiction to fresh new gear. While working at ski resorts in the Rockies, we needed waterproof footwear that felt equally at home in both casual and rugged environments; shoes that stood up to harsh weather and terrain without sacrificing comfort, performance, or style. Unable to find a product that satisfied our cravings, we developed three of our own.

About six months ago we launched on Kickstarter but didn’t reach our $225,000 goal. We’ve since switched to a new production facility that can accommodate smaller manufacturing runs and we are now offering womens sizes 7.5 and up. So we’re back with a vengeance!

Production of these three models requires a lot of capital, so we need your help to make it happen! If successful, funds will be used to purchase supplies & materials, develop molds for each size, reserve space on the production line, shipping, and travel to oversee the production process.
