Russell Watts, an employee of Clear Fork ski area, lost his arm last week while working on the ski area’s new conveyor / “magic carpet” lift. Watts was installing the new surface lift at Clear Fork for their new 10-lane tubing park when his arm became entangled in the machinery. Details are unclear but the result of the accident was that Mr. Watts arm was torn from his body at the shoulder. Watts was then airlifted to Akron General Hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU in serious condition. No further information regarding Watts’ condition is available at this time.
