It looks like Las Leñas got its first snow fall of the season yesterday. The snow was accompanied by a fair bit of rain and wind, but there was still some accumulation at valley floor. Las Leñas intends to begin operations on June 20, and this is a good start!
The forecast is calling for high pressure and temperatures above freezing moving forward. With a little over three weeks to ago until scheduled opening, there is plenty of time for another big storm.
