Yes, this plane was in the midst of flying and YES, a dirt bike flipped over it. It is a cool stunt and a very Red Bull thing to do, but I’d give more credit to the pilot than the rider. It’s pretty much all up to the pilot to not pack it into the ground or slice Petr Pilat into a million pieces.
Then all Petr has to do is flip his bike like he normally does. It’s the same as jumping over a huge dirt gap, between two buildings, or over the Grand Canyon; if he doesn’t make the gap in any of these scenarios then he is f*&#ed anyway. I bet nobody flipping a dirt bike has ever been hit by an airplane though. Guinness World Record spot available, Anyone?
