switch finish win

Jon Olsson’s name is readily recognized in nearly all alpine ski circles. A former X Games perennial, host/founder of the JOI (the King of Freeski Big Air Events), and an alpine race, gate-bashing regular, Jon’s prowess has permeated the minds of snowsports enthusiasts for years.

Jon continues his quest to qualify for a spot to compete in the Sochi 2014 Olympics, as an alpine ski racer. As he competes in this year’s Vattenfall Alpine Challenge Dual Slalom, Jon shows us he has the skills to do it all, all at once.

This video is long (17:45), yet Jon’s run is first. Have a look as he zips across the finish line like few before him.

Jon Olsson has earned the respect of wintersport enthusiasts across the globe yet still he is disliked by many. Where do you stand? Impressive race run or does this fan your Jon-Hate-Fire flames higher?
