Tahoe is gonna get at least one more storm.  Maybe more.  How many more you think we’ll get in Tahoe?

Tahoe is lookin’ at some big wind and not much snow.  Not the best combo, but you never know.  Maybe we’ll get some of that Mammoth wind-buff.  Why not?

NOAA.gov:

Low pressure will push into the Sierra Tuesday Night. Winds will increase ahead of the system in the Sierra and western Nevada. This storm could produce wind gusts of 45 mph in the lower valleys and gusts near 100 mph over the Sierra Ridges. Strongest winds will occur late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, then continued breezy through Thursday. Best chance for precipitation will be along the Sierra Crests from the Tahoe Basin north into northern Washoe County. Precipitation will start as rain for valley areas Tuesday night, then changing to snow by Wednesday morning behind a cold front. A few inches of snow possible in the Sierra and areas north of a Susanville-Gerlach line. Thursday will be the coldest day this week with highs in the 40s for much of western Nevada and 30s in the Sierra Valleys.
