This rainbow was sadly only 3 days too late for St. Paddy’s day, but we’ll take it.
We were hoping for the Chimney today, but that ended up being very far from reality.

LEARN MORE AOBUT RAINBOWS:
– If the sun is higher than 42 degrees in the sky, rainbows are not visible (unless your in a plane or way up high)
– Rainbows are centered on the observer’s head’s shadow
– Sea water rainbows have a smaller radius than fresh water rainbows due to sea water’s higher refractive index
– Rainbows don’t exist where you see them, they are completely reliant on the observer’s and the sun’s position
– Rainbows always appear opposite of the sun with respect to the observer
– The interior of a rainbow is always brighter than the exterior
