The newest episode from the Swatch Timeline series features Xavier de le Rue using the Glacier Express to access some great riding throughout Switzerland.

Since 1930, the Glacier Express has been winding its way through the incredible scenery of the Swiss Alps, connecting Zermatt and St. Moritz. The train ride takes 7.5 hours (using 291 bridges and 91 tunnels), but is most enjoyable if spaced out over days or weeks. One of the coolest things about skiing in the Alps is the way huge amounts of skiable terrain are linked together, and the iconic Glacier Express is the perfect example of that. No matter where you are in the Alps, it is almost always possible to ski down in any direction and eventually end up at a chair lift, train station, or bus stop. If you’ve never tried using trains to link up ski runs, consider a trip on the Glacier Express.
