A 29-Year-Old Finnish man died in an Austrian hospital after being buried in an avalanche for two and a half hours on Sunday.
The man was skiing in the Salzburg provence of Austria near the town of Neukirchen am Grossvenediger with his buddy and his brother. The avalanche buried him and he was under snow for 2.5 hours before being located by rescuers. He was alive when found but in poor condition. He was reportedly resuscitated 2 times on the way to the hospital in Zell am See. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
