First blue bird pow day of season!
First blue bird pow day of season!

This week has been a roller coaster ride in the Boat! Monday started out warm and windy, then in early afternoon came the storm. It dumped about 2 feet of fresh Champagne  snow! Tuesday morning was looking prime after the sun burned away the haze. The runs got tracked up fast with no Pony lift open and no hike to access via North St. Pats or East Face. On Wednesday the resort opened the chutes for the first time all season! They remain open but are skiing pretty sketch. The legendary runs, Closets and Shadows, are average but be aware of under lay on the lower sections. Currently there is a 36″ base, PP snow, 15 lifts, 132 runs. The current weather is a heavy/wet snow/rain overcast. Let’s hope this storm will bring some more pow but it needs to get cold first!
