With sunny days, clear nights, and no new snow this whole week…not too much has really changed since we last reported on Monday. The Chair 5 zone has been the spot all week for fast, fun laps on nicely buffed out cruisers, some decent bumps on Henry’s, and fun natural features on Silver Tip. The groomers are doing a great job keeping things smooth up there and like I said, really fast.

The lack of snow was starting to really show up there today with conditions getting a bit slick and thin in spots, especially on Henry’s. It’s still really good up there , but we’re definitely due for a dumping. As a local told me this morning on the way to the gondi…”No freshies but you can’t complain about the sun!”
It is looking like early next week we will maybe see some more snow com through the area, but who knows…

There are rumors of Chair 9 opening this weekend along with some additional trails off Chair 6 other than just See Forever for lower mountain access. Let’s hope the resort listens to the rumors because Chair 9 would be AWESOME! The Plunge has looked ready to go all week and they have been blowing snow on Lookout and elsewhere in the 9 zone the last few days.
Additional ‘talk’ is calling for a mid-week opening of Chair 12 and Prospect Bowl as well as Chair 14 for access back to See Forever.
