Lindsey Vonn won the Lake Louise Downhill today with a DOMINATING performance.  She beat next closest competitor by 2 seconds.  That means that she straight up smoked everyone that showed up.  What it really means is that the other girls really didn’t even need to bother showing up.  Linsdey is skiing with an enlightened power right now that simply cannot be touched by the rest of the skiing world.

“I couldn’t believe it. My goal was just to ski aggressively through the wind and tough light conditions. I could feel the wind heavily when I was skiing, so to win by almost two seconds is just amazing.” – Lindsey Vonn

Lindsey is only 27 and is 4th on the all-time World Cup win list with 43 wins.

Bode Miller also won today marking the first time Americans have won both downhills on the same day since December 2004 when Bode and Lindsey both won (and it was Lindsey’s first career win) on the same day.

“With Bode winning in Beaver Creek, it was a big day for the U.S. Ski Team and I hope we can continue the trend through the weekend and into next week when the men’s and women’s teams are together in Beaver Creek.” -Lindsey Vonn.

Does it seem obvious to anyone else that Bode and Lindsey should breed if for no other reason than to secure the ski racing future of America?
